Fast and free wifi at major Railway Stations of the country is one the services being provided by Google India through Digital India Scheme.
Make in India,another program was launched and being promoted by the PM for increasing the investments of the foreign companies in Indian Economy.
6.Solar Power Generation And Electrifying Villages: India has great potential source of energy in the form of Solar Energy because of its favourable climatic conditions.Investing in Solar Technology India is now generating around 12,277MW electricity which was 2,621MW in 2014.
For Electrifying villages of the country DDUGJY( Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana) was launched in 2015 and has indeed done a great job. As of 25th of May 2017 around 13,523 villages have been electrified under the scheme. The government is aiming to electrify all villages by 2018.
7.Freebie LPG Distribution to BPL households:
Last but not the least the distribution of free LPG connection previous year to 1 crore rural women aiming to replace unclean cooking fuel under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana thus reducing health hazards and air pollution.
